How to write an academic resume for scholarship. Winning a Scholarship is very rigorous and lately the competition is so much high that you need to present resume perfectly for higher chances of being selected.

Resume/Curriculum Vitae/CV all means the same depending on its purpose and they are documents used to present a precise information about yourself which entails your background, qualities, education et al.

A clearly written professional resume can win you a research grant or even Scholarship. Resume is part of the listed requirements in scholarship application.

Your resume most represent you, it must be original, accurate, concise and truthful.

A resume meant for a Scholarship Application must be deliberately tailored towards the scholarhips aim which must include your educational background, achievements, and ambitions that can award you a scholarship.

Resume is what present you to the Scholarship board or providers. Resume is not article based, it is more than just picking your pen to write. For an outstanding resume for scholarship application, one of the criteria is highlighting relevant information to be contained in the resume. Write out an organize list of all your Achievements, your academic qualification, community development service, skills and awards.

Having done that, critically analyze the highlighted or written sample resume. Determine what to add or remove from the organized lists of Achievements and whatever should be contained in the resume.

MAKE AN ORDERED LIST

After identifying and highlighting relevant information in a sketch format, the next step is making an ordered list of your details in a descending order because literally your most recent Achievements must come first before your previous ones.

GIVE FULL DETAILS

Do not miss out any information about yourself. Give full details in the resume, list all relevant information such as your name, age, education, background, mobile digits, activities engaged, volunteering, literacy, etc

You may also state the objectives relating to the intended Scholarship Application and how the objective defines you.

BE HONEST

Honesty will work best for you. The competition maybe high but do not ever lie about yourself probably to impress the scholarship board. Do not falsify any information or lie about any Achievements. Becareful not to add information you can’t backup with facts or documents.
