I am sure you don’t want to be a boring nerd by studying at all time. No! Social life is part of the prerequisites of passing through the four walls of school. Infact! It is one of the determinant factor of how vast and versatile you are.
More often, countless students tend to allow their social life surpasses their school life or study time. What I see here is inability to strike a balance.
During my days in the University, I was that social dude and bookworm. Sounds suprising, right? I was able to strike a balance between social and academic which made my undergraduate days fun and educative at the same time.
This article was borne out of urge to express how I was able to strike balance during my undergraduate study.

SCHEDULE YOUR TIME
One of the ways to strike a balance between school and social life is scheduling your own time and pace. Determine and strategize when to study and socialize. Choose a convenient time to visit the library, do school assignments, engage in group discussions and when to socialize. Map out a specific time for each study tasks and stay true to it.
Do Not Live A Triangular Life As A Student; Rectangular Life Is The Best.
Triangular Life involves three processes which are: School, Library and Home/Hostel.
Rectangular Life also involves four processes which are: School, Library, Hostel, and Social Gathering.
From personal research, Rectangular Life is the best approach to striking a balance between school and social life.
Your goal is what you intend achieving or a formal realistic plan. Having a set goals as a student does a lot in balancing your life. Setting a goal isn’t enough but working towards achieving it.
Goal setting is followed after scheduling your time.
You can’t standout as a student without goal setting.

AVOID RUSH HOUR
This particular tip works perfectly for all students inasmuch as you create time. This is one the reason why most students fail because waiting till the last minute won’t help you standout as a student.

Know when to stop when you are possibly pulling social life too hard. This is one thing that has helped me during my undergraduate days, I know when to stop social life for study and that has enabled me strike balance between academic and social activities.

Nothing is more intriguing than being socialized and excelling academically. There is an inner joy in it. It gives you peace and pride.
No student want to live a boring lifestyle, that’s so much respected but do not over do, maintain a balance between your academic excellence and social activities as it helps increase your mental healthiness and stability.
